North Carolina Advocacy Day
Each year, the Mid Atlantic Chapter hosts a North Carolina Advocacy Day opportunity. Advocacy Day is an opportunity for Activists with MS to show their appreciation to NC Legislators and to talk to them about issues affecting people with MS. In 2008, we hosted our first-ever virtual Advocacy Day.
On May 27, local activists came together for MS Advocacy Day. Individuals had the opportunity to join the movement virtually or in person at the NC State Capitol. MS Advocacy Day was held in conjunction with World MS Day. It was an opportunity for MS activists to show their appreciation to NC Legislators and talk with them about issues affecting people with MS.
