VOLUNTEER POLICY:
Volunteers filling high-level positions including, but not limited to medics, SAGs, supply truck drivers, and registration are required to have an annual background check. If the volunteer position requires driving on behalf of the National MS Society, the individual will also be required to have a motor vehicle check and provide proof of personal automobile insurance and a copy of his/her valid driver’s license. In order to protect the privacy of our volunteers, the Society has established a secure, online process for these background checks.
