We know that living with MS can cause some people to face financial challenges. In response to these challenges, the Eastern NC Chapter provides limited financial assistance for emergency needs such as utilities, rent, mortgage and food. The chapter also may assist with medical equipment and repairs, home and auto modifications, respite, medical transportation, and activities for children.
We make every attempt to assist with these needs, however, not all requests are able to be fulfilled due to limited financial resources and expanding needs. The chapter will work with you to connect you to other resources that may be of assistance. The Eastern NC Chapter cannot reimburse you for items that have already been purchased.
To qualify for our financial assistance program, we require that you complete a financial assistance application (call 1-800-344-4867 to speak with an MS Navigator), verification from your doctor that you have been diagnosed with MS, and documentation from a vendor outlining the cost of the item.
