Facing an uncertain future of living with MS can be confusing and isolating. Sometimes talking with another person who has experienced the same challenge can make a difference. The peer support program is designed to match trained volunteers (both people with MS and family members) to others who have been affected by the disease. In peer support relationships, you have the opportunity to talk with someone who understands. Peer support volunteers help people with MS and their families find ways of dealing with their feelings and coping with the challenges of living with the disease.
For more information about the Peer Support program and to be connected to a volunteer please email Jennifer or call at the chapter office 1-800-344-4867.
