Resident Shows Community Leadership and Collaborates with Local Pam RayBusinesses

Hope Mills resident Pam Ray knows that her community is a valuable resource.

She knows businesses are willing to support the causes of their customers and community they serve.

Working with them is a sure way to achieve mutual goals.

Her team “paMS pals,” a team of fifty-three, collaborated with local businesses to meet their fundraising goals for the Fayetteville Walk MS.

Sammio’s Family Italian Restaurant pledged to donate twenty percent of all sales revenue taken on March ninth to Ray’s team.

“We are happy to help in this fundraiser whatever way we can,” says Sammio’s manager Louis Frangos.

For MS Awareness week, March second through the ninth, Ray negotiated with a local coffee shop.

The business donated a portion of sales revenue from two of their products to Ray’s 2009 team.

The collaborations have an inspiring quality against a universally bleak economic backdrop.
