Help provide programs and services for the over 4,600 individuals living with MS in eastern North Carolina.
Volunteer opportunities include:
- Coordinating programs in your local area
- Serving on Advisory and Planning Committees
- Chapter Programs - guide program planning for the entire chapter area
- Care Partner - generate and implement ideas to serve care partners of people living with MS
- Kid's Camp - Assist in organizing, planning and managing activities for annual Kid's Camp
- Long-Term Care Committee - Provide guidance and assistance to the chapter in identifying resources and information pertaining to long-term care issues for people living with MS
- Representing the Society at Health Fairs
- Providing outreach to health professionals
- Participating in Service Day Projects - assisting people with MS by performing routine household projects OR take on a leadership role by coordinating a Service Day project in your area
- Participate in planning and coordinating local Join the Movement Days (MS Awareness Week) activities
- Allied Health and Medical Professionals are needed to assist on our Speaker's Bureau, specialized programs for members and more.
