FRANKIE VALLI AND THE FOUR SEASONS
TO PERFORM FOR 2009
MUSICAL MOMENTS FOR MS

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is thrilled to announce an upcoming one-of-a-kind event that offers individuals and corporations a unique opportunity to support the National MS Society in our movement towards a world free of MS while having a once in a lifetime experience – Musical Moments for MS.

The eighth Musical Moments for MS event will be held on Wednesday, November 4th, 2009 at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, New Jersey. This year, we are thrilled and honored to announce that Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons will be treating us to a wonderful performance.

The evening consists of a gala cocktail party and concert, with a VIP reception afterwards. Past performers include Smokey Robinson, Bette Midler, Donna Summer, Kenny Loggins, Linda Ronstadt, Bernadette Peters and Gladys Knight.

We are also proud to announce that this year’s Corporate Honoree is Ron Boire, President “R” Us Brands, Toys “R” Us, Inc. and this year’s Humanitarian Honoree is Stephen K. Jones, President and CEO, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Past honorees included Tom Tolworthy, President and CEO of The Vitamin Shoppe; Reinhard Franzen, President and CEO of Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals; Kenneth Chenault, CEO and President, American Express Company; Robert N. Wilson, Vice Chairman, Johnson & Johnson; Lodewijk J.R. de Vink, President and COO, Warner-Lambert Company; William McCahill, Executive Vice President of Fleet Bank; Timothy Ring, Chairman and CEO of C.R. Bard, Inc.; Gerald H. Lipkin, Chairman of the Board for Valley National Bank; and, Roger Fine, Past Vice President and General Counsel for Johnson and Johnson.

There are a wide variety of ticket and sponsorship options. All offer the chance to take part in an elegant cocktail reception and see an incredible concert. Some tickets packages include a post-concert reception with our premier performer.

This long-running event is powered and closely identified with its founders, Murray and Lee Kushner.   Murray, a prominent metropolitan area developer, and his wife Lee, work together to produce an exciting evening of entertainment, aimed at raising money and awareness in our movement towards a world free of MS. This event is of particular importance to both of them as Lee is a person living with multiple sclerosis.

During its first seven years, the event raised close to $10 million. This year’s event will impact and benefit all those living with multiple sclerosis in our area and across the country. With your support, we are hoping to be an even bigger success this year. For more information about the event and attendance options, contact Gina Murdoch 732-660-1005 x316 or gina.murdoch@nmss.org.
