Living with MS

Programs & Services

Our Educational programs and services are based on the NMSS quality of Life Goals:  Knowledge, Health, and Independence. This promotes understanding and management of MS through the provision of accurate information about the disease and related issues. Knowledge is power and empowerment and that is the foundation of our chapter programs structure.

The Physical Health programs facilitate access to quality health care, exercise, physical activity, and wellness.

The Emotional Health programs help to promote a state of psychological well-being.

The Family and Social program category is the umbrella under which we include such programs as our self-help groups, family programs, and social events.

Programs supporting independence consist of accessibility, independent living, employment, and long term care.

The staff of the New Jersey Metro Chapter would like to thank our members. Your participation and feedback allow us to develop programs that best fit your needs. We truly enjoy what we do and look forward to another rewarding year.

For information and resources, please contact Sharon at the Information Resource Center (IRC) at generalmailbox@nmss.org or call 1-800-344-4867. Our staff can answer questions, provide brochures, publications, information on programs, and access material from our lending library.
