Early detection is imperative to minimizing the potential effects of multiple sclerosis. It is critical that medical professionals have access to the most recent and accurate research, treatment options and data about MS available.
The Chapter is the primary resource for MS information for professionals. The Chapter’s ultimate goal in educating and partnering with healthcare professionals is to enhance the access and quality of care available to people with MS.
Presentation information is in depth or general to comply with audience to include symptoms, diagnosis, treatment approaches, research and psycho social applications. Power Point Presentations and/or handouts available.

School Outreach Program
Bringing knowledge and awareness of Multiple Sclerosis to the Schools of Long Island.
An interactive educational presentation is available to present to student bodies of all grade levels. This is an opportunity for children as well as educators to learn about MS, and promote disability awareness in the school, at home, and community.
Presentation touches upon symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, current research as well various volunteer and event involvement opportunities.
