MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS
A furtive foe moved in.
My crystal ball suddenly
Rolled off its base.
Awestruck, I stared.
Upside down, it looked different.
I peer in amazed.

For so long I have been caught
Up in doing
Scenarios of examining,
a race of yesterdays,
fading into tomorrows.
Today, I do not move,
And that is all right.

Going was my need,
doing my want
but being,
being in this very moment,
this is my contentment.
