Walk MS
The Walk MS is a national event held in the spring with over 600 sites across the country. The Upstate New York Chapter hosts 21 different Walk MS locations attracting over 10,000 participants and volunteers. The Walk MS event is the Upstate New York Chapters largest fundraising event raising close to 1.5 million dollars and has the potential to grow even more with your help!
Volunteer Opportunities:
WALK MS day of event volunteers include: food service, parking volunteers, mission table volunteers, rest stop volunteers, registration volunteers, cheerleaders and more. Team Captain positions are also available. Walk MS Planning Committee volunteers meet throughout the year and job responsibilities include, planning and marking the route, securing rest stops, recruiting Teams and sponsors, recruiting and coordinating volunteers, coordinating in-kind donations, food service the day of the event and more.
