Internships

Internships with the Ohio Buckeye Chapter are available to qualified undergraduate and graduate students in the areas of client service programs, marketing, fundraising, special events and public relations. We offer students the opportunity to work directly with clients and on projects of significant scope. Current openings are as follows:

Client Programs Intern 
The intern will participate in developing, implementing, and documenting services to people with multiple sclerosis and their families. Within the Outreach department, the intern may focus on client assistance requests, information and referral, or resource programs.

Communications/PR Intern
The intern will support the overall communications efforts of the Chapter including media relations, news and feature-story development. The PR intern works on a variety of projects to strengthen the Chapter’s visibility in our 36-county service area, supports marketing efforts for the Marketing and Outreach departments, and provides information to important audiences on MS and the organization.

Development and Marketing Intern    
The intern will assist with the organization, marketing, and/or implementation of the annual corporate sponsorship campaigns associated with Walk MS, Bike MS, and the Dinner of Champions. Continual training and coaching provided.

Fundraising Intern
This position will assist with the research, development and implementation of participant fundraising tactics and update current Chapter fundraising sources to enhance the support provided to event participants.

Logistics Intern
This position will assist with the planning and implementation of fundraising events like Bike MS and Walk MS.
