Baseball Prospectus Supports People with MS
|
Kathy and Keith Woolner of Westlake presented a check for $6,385 to the Ohio Buckeye Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society on June 12. The donation was from Baseball Prospectus following a month-long promotion in April. Baseball Prospectus donated $5.00 for every online purchase, a subscription-based website offering comprehensive analysis of baseball statistics. Woolner was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis more than 12 years ago while her husband, Keith, was a contributor at Baseball Prospectus. The company wanted to honor her and help others living with the chronic, unpredictable disease of the central nervous system. They contributed the funds on Woolner's behalf in support of her Walk MS "Dessert First!" team. "The staff at Baseball Prospectus is passionate about baseball and they have a history of being very supportive of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society" added Dave Pease of Baseball Prospectus. Janet Kramer, Ohio Buckeye Chapter president, is presented the $6,385 check from Baseball Prospectus presented by Keith and Kathy Woolner.
