Workplace Giving

In many workplace-giving campaigns, in both the private and public sector, the Ohio Buckeye Chapter of the National MS Society is among the list of nonprofit organizations employees can choose to designate.

If you are interested in including the National MS Society, the scientific research we support, or one of our local programs as a part of your company's workplace giving campaign or simply want to learn more about designating the Ohio Buckeye Chapter, please contact Jennifer Hamilton at 800-667-7131. Below are a few examples of organizations the National MS Society partners with through workplace giving:

Combined Federal Campaign

The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is a voluntary workplace giving campaign for federal employees and military personnel worldwide. The campaign, designed to support and promote philanthropy, is an initiative in which employees are given the opportunity to donate to their charity of choice through payroll deduction or a one-time contribution. The CFC is one simple way federal employees can give back to the community.

The CFC officially kicks off October 1, and lasts through the end of the year. The Ohio Buckeye Chapter of the National MS Society (#20939) is among the non-profit organizations that employees can choose to designate.

If you are interested in learning more about how you can designate the Ohio Buckeye Chapter in the CFC, please contact Jennifer Hamilton at 800-667-7131.

Community Health Charities

Community Health Charities (CHC) is a federation of health-related organizations. CHC exists to represent its member agencies and help them obtain funds through workplace giving campaigns.

As a member of CHC, the National MS Society (#11409) is represented in both private and public sector workplace giving campaigns at organizations such as federal agencies, Aetna, American Airlines, Gannett, Keane, Pitney Bowes, and Sears.

Other Avenues of Workplace Giving:

Payroll Deduction

Each time you have the opportunity to participate as part of a payroll deduction campaign at your workplace, check to see if the National Multiple Sclerosis Society is listed as an option. Gifts made through workplace payroll deduction campaigns directly support the local needs of thousands living with MS in our community. Remember, there is only one National MS Society and your campaign may have many choices as to whom you can donate funds in support of the MS cause.

Matching Gifts

Don’t miss an opportunity to potentially double the value of your contribution. Many corporations have a matching gift program in which the company will match individual contributions including monthly, annual or payroll deduction gifts.
