Emotional health programs help support and assist people with MS and their families in adapting and coping with the changes that living with multiple sclerosis may bring. The Ohio Buckeye Chapter offers the following programs to help improve the emotional well being: Art Therapy - A way to express yourself, to relax, to meditate, to explore your creative self. Art is truly therapeutic! MS College Kids Chat - Starting college should be an exciting time in a young person's life. Add living with MS to the mix and it can become stressful and frightening. This online chat is designed specifically for college-aged individuals with MS. Counseling - Licensed social workers are trained to assist in choosing a counseling option to assist in coping with the disease. Horticulture Therapy - Discover new ways to incorporate plants and nature into your personal healing. This group is designed for individuals, caregivers and family members who are dealing with chronic illness. Self Help Groups - Bring people together who share a common life experience for support, education and mutual aid. Members share a belief that positive personal change can happen through individual effort with the support of others. Visitation
