Help Spread Holiday Cheer!

Coping with nursing home life or being isolated at home because of a chronic illness can be emotionally difficult. Each year, the Ohio Buckeye Chapter distributes small holiday gifts to people with MS in these situations during the holidays to help them feel connected and let them know that others care. Thanks to your generous donations in 2008, we delivered approximately 600 holiday bags! We are planning to deliver even more this year, and we need your help once again.

We are looking for volunteers interested in delivering holiday bags to those in nursing homes and those isolated in their homes. You will be matched to individuals in the areas that you specify (to the best of our ability).

If you cannot deliver but have family, friends, church members or others that you know would be interested in this program, please have them contact April at 800-667-7131.

Volunteers are especially needed to make holiday bag deliveries in the following areas:

East side of Cleveland
Stark County
Summit County
Portage County
Coshocton County
Wayne County
Columbiana County
Ashtabula County
Jefferson County
Belmont County
Hocking County
Madison County
Monroe County
Morgan County
Pickaway County
Washington County
