The National MS Society created their scholarship program in 2003 to help qualified students who have been diagnosed with MS or who have a parent with MS achieve their dreams of going to college because having MS should never stand in the way of an education. In its first year, the program aswarded 36 scholarships for a total of $68,000. In 2009, a total of $1,021,600 was awarded to 510 scholars. Two of these scholars are from the Ohio Buckeye Chapter area. You can find detailed scholarship program information here. |
