Internships with the Ohio Buckeye Chapter are available to qualified undergraduate and graduate students in the areas of client service programs, marketing, fundraising, special events and public relations. We offer students the opportunity to work directly with clients and on projects of significant scope. Current openings are as follows:
Outreach Intern
The intern will participate in developing, implementing, and documenting services to people with multiple sclerosis and their families. Within the Outreach department, the intern may focus on client assistance requests, information and referral, or resource programs.
Marketing Intern
The intern will assist with the organization, marketing, and implementation of the volunteer driven fundraising campaigns that make possible our chapter’s services and investment in MS-related medical research. Some of these events are among the largest and most successful of their kind, providing a great "hands on" learning opportunity. Continual training and coaching provided.
Communications/PR Intern
The intern will support the overall communications efforts of the agency including media relations, news and feature-story development, and Web site updates. The PR intern works on a variety of projects to strengthen the Chapter’s visibility in our 36-county service area, supports marketing efforts for the fundraising and services departments, and povides information to important audiences on MS and the organization.
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until all internship positions are satisfactorily filled. Apply by sending a resume and cover letter to our office.
