Journey Club Kids Day Camp for kids 8-14
Children with a parent or other loved one living with MS are invited to Journey Club Day Camp, a guided tour through the world of multiple sclerosis. By exploring different “lands” including the “The Land of Change”, “The Land of Support”, “The Land of Fun and Relaxation” and “What is MS?” children will have the opportunity to understand multiple sclerosis better by participating in hands-on activities which simulate MS symptoms. Additionally, a safe forum with a professional counselor in a group setting will allow children to talk about the emotional impact MS can have on a family. Kids will also learn exercises and activities which can be done at home with their family member with MS. Participants will take part in fun camp activities throughout the week. The end of the week, the kids along with their friends and family will enjoy closing ceremonies.
Journey Club Kids Camp will be held at Camp Kern which is located in Oregonia, Ohio, on June 22-26.
