The Northwestern Ohio Chapter has been serving people with multiple sclerosis and their families for over 36 years. Since we opened our doors in 1966, our Chapter has come a long way in reaching people with MS and providing them with much needed services.
By 1985, we were serving approximately 1,400 clients in 16 counties. As our Chapter grew so did the number of people we were able to reach. In 1992, programs and fundraising events were growing rapidly and approximately 2,000 people were registered clients with our Chapter. Over the next five years, we implemented many new programs such as, Family Fun Day and Therapeutic Horseback Riding.
Today, our service area includes 26 counties with over 3,000 people registered with our Chapter. Thanks to the generosity of our event participants, sponsors, clients and many other individual donors..the Northwestern Ohio Chapter is able to continue funding valuable client programs and support research efforts in search of a cure. Together, we can make it happen!
