Equestrian Therapy

User Options:

For people who have a disability, the benefits of horseback riding are enormous. The most obvious of these benefits are physical improvements. This can include improved balance, trunk control, hand-eye coordination, posture and endurance. Less obvious benefits include increased self-esteem and confidence. Horseback riding also provides an opportunity for increased social skills.

The Northwestern Ohio Chapter is proud to be affiliated with several accredited Equestrian Centers and be able to help clients participate in this worthwhile therapy. Contact the Chapter for scholarship information.
