Dr. Jayne Ness, Pediatric Neurologist, to speak at MS Society Annual Meeting
The Oklahoma Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society welcomes Dr. Jayne Ness,MD-PhD to its 2009 Annual Meeting and Volunteer Recognition program.
As the keynote speaker for the evening, Dr. Ness will be speaking on pediatric MS and The Pediatric MS Centers of Excellence, which were established through the National MS Society’s Promise: 2010 initiative targeting vital MS research and care.
The event will be held Monday, November 9 at the MeadowBrook Country Club in Tulsa.
Volunteers are invited to attend the Volunteer Recognition reception at 6:00 p.m. The Oklahoma Chapter will honor all past and present volunteers with a new NMSS service pen.
During the reception, the President of the Chapter will give special recognition to the 2009 National MS Society Volunteer of the Year Recipient,Kevin O’Sullivan and to Janet Cordell, RN, National MS Society Volunteer Hall of Fame Inductee. Also,Fuel Managers, Inc will be honored for all of their support of the National MS Society, Oklahoma Chapter.
