Dear Chapter Members,

Wherever the economy is precarious and individuals are concerned about the stability of their own household it becomes a very uncertain time for non-profits. But, often that same fluctuating economic climate increases the amounts of requests we receive for those we are trying to serve. Our service requests have increased in the last few months and we expect to see much more of the same over the next few months.

Now is the time to rally everyone together for the MS Movement! With MS Awareness week activities, spring Walks, WAMS and our busy client program schedule, there is no better time to renew America and foster community ties than by becoming part of the MS Movement.

There are many things that we can’t control with the diagnosis of MS, but we can do this. We can cheer on walkers, we can become activists and contact our legislators, and we can make sure our fellow neighbors know about MS by being part of MS Awareness week activities. We can rally others to join our movement!

Challenging times call for leadership, innovations, and creative solutions, to meet the needs of Oklahomans with MS and to ultimately create a world free of MS. Your actions can help create an unprecedented swelling of support for our cause. We invite you to become involved in your community with your neighbors, your friends, your family members. ACTION - It’s available to us NOW and it’s the best form of remedy for what is ailing America today and addressing those ailments can lead our world into the right direction to find a cure for MS.

The Chapter remains resolute that we will meet the challenges facing Oklahomans with MS. Our budget does not diminish any funding in our programs and direct services areas, we meet this challenge gladly. Since each day people with MS are faced with uncertainly we know we too must accept this challenge in the same hopeful manner we see in the faces of those we serve.

If you have the ability to give to others please consider Oklahomans with MS with a contribution to the Society, if you need us to be there for you then please do not hesitate to call.

Wee face the future with hope for a world free of MS; we will not waiver.

Warm Regards,
