Every hour of every day, a person is diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Every year, people come together to ride and fundraise to work towards ending the devastating effects of MS.
Bike MS Champions™ strives to connect people living with MS and event participants from the Bike MS Ride. These connections foster education, awareness, gratitude and most importantly hope, through the symbol of a bright blue bandana. During the Bike MS Ride, event participants wear a bandana signed by a person with multiple sclerosis. The paired Champions are encouraged to connect before, during or after the event.
Because not all riders have a personal connection to MS, we give riders the option to be matched with a person with MS to closer tie them to the mission of Bike MS. We send them a bio of a person with MS who has volunteered to share their personal story. Riders do not simply raise money for a cause. They help us to make a difference in the lives of others through programs, services, and research to find a cure for MS.
