Women Against Multiple Sclerosis (WAMS) is a highly visible and inspiring event designed to raise awareness. Funds from the luncheon benefit local MS programs and services, as well as the national research effort to find the cause and cure for MS.
Approximately 400,000 Americans acknowledge having MS, and approximately two-thirds of them are women. The Oklahoma Chapter has 3,400 registered clients and 70% of those are women.
