OKLAHOMA DISASTER STATEMENT
May 21, 2013

We are deeply saddened by the devastation our community is experiencing as a result of catastrophic storms this week. The sorrow and grief caused by this tragedy is felt by all Oklahomans, and our thoughts and sympathies continue to be with those impacted.

If you or someone you know are in need of immediate assistance due to the tornado, please refer to the following agencies for information and other critical resources:

The National MS Society’s Information Resource Center can also help families affected by MS find the support and services needed in the midst of crisis, or after the initial emergency has passed. Contact an MS Navigator to learn about financial resources for medical equipment and supplies, temporary living assistance, and other MS-related needs : 1-800-344-4867, press 1.

The Oklahoma Chapter awarded 11 graduating high school seniors and 2 Linda Chance Memorial scholarship recipients with scholarships for the 2011-12 school year.
