The Buddy Program

Connect with other Oklahomans who have MS

What is the Buddy Program?

  • Provides Oklahomans with MS a way to communicate with each other - this could be somone in your neighboorhood or anywhere across the state.. the choice is yours!

  • Connects YOU with someone who has similar experiences, interests, and ideas. We know men and women face different symptoms of MS, emotionally and physically, so you will be paired with a BUDDY of the same gender.

  • Is a program developed by an Oklahoma Chapter volunteer for Oklahomans with MS.

How do I join?

We realize that all of us need someone to talk with who understands and can relate to our situations. We now have more options for you:

  • A buddy to call who lives within the state.

  • A buddy to email.

  • A buddy email group to participate in.

  • A toll free MSFriends® network that is available 24/7.

Those already in the Buddy Program know the benefits and rewards of participating. Those not yet acquainted with the program have an opportunity to be a part of something positive in the lives of those with MS.

Don't wait... now is the time to "Buddy Up"... via phone or emails, it's so easy! Click here to print out and complete the attached form. Once the Oklahoma Chapter receives your registration form, a welcome letter with a partner match-up form and confidentiality agreement will be mailed to you. Upon receipt of these completed forms we will pair you with a Buddy.

The Oklahoma Chapter is here to help you and MSFriends® is available when your local buddy is not. YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
