Oregon Programs & Services
Join the Movement.
MS stops people from moving. We exist to make sure it doesn’t. The National MS Society, Oregon Chapter is a community of individuals who are committed to achieving a world free of MS. We provide support services and programs to people with MS, their family and friends, and raise funds locally to support the National MS Society’s research initiatives.
Programs and Services
The Oregon Chapter provides programs and direct support services to help people living with MS and their families. Learn more about all of our programs and services.
View all upcoming programs by visiting our calendar at a glance. Some of the programs listed can easily be accessed by phone, and these can be viewed directly at teleconference programs.
There are many self-help and support groups available to connect with others living with MS throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington, and other connection opportunities such as Facebook and chat rooms.
If you’re interested in financial assistance, a college scholarship, medical equipment, or an emergency information card please view any of these services.
Advocacy
Everyone is welcome to join in MS Activist efforts at the federal, state and local levels. Learn more at MS Activist.
Research
The National MS Society funds research projects worldwide with three goals in mind: stopping MS, restoring function, and ending MS forever. The Society is currently funding eight MS research projects in the Oregon Chapter, at almost $3 million dollars.
If you would like to participate in local research, please view local studies and trials for descriptions of projects and the contact information to connect with research staff.
