The Golden Circle is committed to the Cause, Care, and Cure of multiple sclerosis. The Golden Circle is a major donor program of the National MS Society’s Central Pennsylvania Chapter, recognizing annual gifts of $1,000+.
History
The Golden Circle was originally created in 1993 as an elite annual gift campaign. It has been a way for individuals, foundations and corporations to contribute millions of dollars to:
- accelerate the development of more effective MS treatments
- search for the cause and cure of the disease
- expand the Chapter’s local programming for people with MS
As a member of The Golden Circle, you carry on a tradition from the Society’s founder, Sylvia Lawry, who raised $100,000 in 1946 from friends and family members in her community to try to find an answer to the puzzle of this unpredictable disease.

The Golden Circle honors compassionate donors and leaders in the movement to end MS. It is the best way to make a difference in moving us closer to a world free of MS. We hope you will consider giving at one of our giving levels.
