West Shore Polo Club Posts A Win! National MS Society Mission Moves Forward!
MS Polo, a premier event of the season and Harrisburg Magazine's Readers' Choice 2009 event, has come to a close. The spectacle will remain in memory until our next event in 2010. The National MS Society offers our sincere thank you to all sponsors, volunteers, attendees, players and ponies for their investment in our mission: To create a world free of MS. We hope you enjoyed the polo match, terrier races, Bookymobile, Panera Bread fare, music by Acoustic Synergy, children’s activities, golf for sponsors and of course the VIP SUN Motors Denim and Diamond reception under the stars! Over 1,500 people enjoyed the weekend at Hempt Polo Field. MS Polo moves our research forward and moves programs to those with Multiple Sclerosis. We gratefully acknowledge your role in providing both!
Going forward, our 5th event will be named The George F. Hempt Memorial MS Polo Match in honor of our friend, supporter and one who loved polo. We hope to see you next August!
