MS Support

We offer many types of support including self-help groups, educational seminars, health and wellness strategies, family programs, financial assistance, and support around day to day concerns. And most importantly, a connection with others living with MS.

  • Assistance: An overview of the different programs and services the Central Pennsylvania Chapter provides (i.e. financial, transportation, equipment, home modification, long term care, care management, self help groups).
  • Self Help Groups:  Living with MS can sometimes be challenging…so can the variety of emotional reactions a person may feel. Often emotional health needs are overlooked, as many people are unsure where to begin. Finding someone to talk to can be an important first step.
  • MS Navigator Program:  When you contact the National Multiple Sclerosis Society with a question about living with MS, you will be connected with a highly skilled professional whose job it is to help you navigate the challenges of multiple sclerosis. Whatever your concern, your Service Coordination Specialist (your MS Navigator™) will listen and then help you find the best information or connect you to the most useful programs and resources.
