Position Overview
The scholarship volunteers will create online resource guide for families that explains and provides links to resources to pay for college.
Key Responsibilities
- Research grants, loans and scholarships available
- Write guide that can be available online
Initial Impact:
Students who may not have looked into college without this information will see what's available to them.
Sustained Outcome:
The outcome will be that families will learn how to find and access the loan, grant and scholarship resources that best fits their needs.
Training:
Orientation to chapter will be provided
Support:
The volunteer will be supported by the chapter staff in the services department. Supervisory check-in meetings will take place twice a month at the least.
Commitment:
The research and writing of the guide will take four to eight months.
