INVITING VOLUNTEERS FOR A NEW STUDY

Do you have concerns about your ability to drive or travel within your community? There is a research study looking for people to complete a survey about their experience with driving or using transportation in Pittsburgh, PA. The survey focuses on people with disabilities (PWD) and the senior citizens.
Eligibility: Anyone age 18 and up with a disability or anyone age 55 and up. Men and women are invited to participate.
Requirements: The survey is in 5 parts for a total of 70 questions. You will only be asked to complete this survey one time.
Study Length: The survey is estimated to take no more than 2-3 hours to finish. Most people will finish within an hour and a half.
Options: The survey can be in English as a self-survey or interview.
Benefits: Future benefits due to your participation may result in improved policies to promote more options for independent transportation. There are no immediate benefits to you expected from participation.
Risks: There are no risks associated with this study. No medical exam, lifting or physical effort is required, and there is no obligation to complete the survey.
Compensation: For completing the study, you will receive $15 USD to acknowledge the time and effort of your voluntary participation.
Your participation will be completely confidential, and there will be no risk of your survey responses being identified by the public. All survey results will maintain anonymous data collection and reporting.
