The Western Pennsylvania Chapter of the National MS Society hosts a variety of special and mass market events throughout the year. Generous support of these events by guests and sponsors make possible the hundreds of comprehensive support services and educational programs the chapter provides people living with MS, their friends and families, in addition to supporting the National MS Society’s critical research initiatives.

> Walk MS: Take steps in one of 12 Western Pennsylvania communities by walking Walk MS event.
> Bike MS: Saddle up for one, two or three Bike MS events, including rides leaving from Cook Forest, Moraine State Park/Edinboro University or Altoona.
> MS READaTHON: The MS READaTHON offers children in elementary and middle school an opportunity to help people living with MS by simply reading books and getting sponsors.
> U.G.L.Y. Bartender Contest: UGLY is an acronym for Understanding, Generous, Lovable, You! This contest gives bars and restaurants an opportunity to help create a world free of MS.
> Run to Stop MS: Make the personal achievement of participating in a marathon or other endurance event even more memorable by helping those who live with the unpredictable challenges of multiple sclerosis.
> Women on the Move: Give from the heart to help friends, family members and colleagues by attending a Women on the Move Luncheon, held in Erie and Pittsburgh.
> Lobsterfest for MS: Give from the heart to help friends, family members and colleagues by attending a Lobsterfest, held in Altoona.
