Training for Rock

You’re up for the challenge—and ready for the ride of your life! The adventure of the Bike MS experience begins not on the first day of the event but the moment you begin training for it. The training process is a journey unto itself that will reward you with better health and fitness, greater calmness and energy in your daily life, more self-confidence, and more fun in the ride itself.

We have a training guide that is designed to provide all the information you need to prepare for this event in an easy-to-understand format. It covers essential gear, cycling technique, building fitness, sports nutrition and other important topics.

You will find this guide to be an invaluable resource in your preparations for the ride. Get ready for the experience of a lifetime!

Training Rides

The adventure of the Bike MS experience begins not on the first day of the event but the moment you begin training for it. The training process is a journey unto itself that will reward you with better health and fitness, greater calmness and energy in your daily life, and more fun in the ride itself.

FedEx “Rock-N- Roll” cyclists will ride 75 miles each day. To enjoy your ride and be able to finish, it is essential to correctly train for it. For your convenience, there are several options for training rides in the Memphis area. Registered riders of the “Rock-N-Roll” are welcome to attend these rides as guests of Bike Plus and Memphis Hightailers.

Another great training ride......Take part in the Bikes Blues and Bayous ride in Greenwood, MS on August 1st.
