A Luncheon Leading the Way to a World Free of MS!

The Women Against MS (WAMS) Luncheon is a fundraising and educational event driven by a group of passionate volunteers. The goal of the luncheon is simple - raise funds for and awareness of multiple sclerosis (MS). This extraordinary event is held annually in three communities across the state: Nashville, Memphis, and Chattanooga and is attended by more than 1,000 women – and men – dedicated to finding a cause and cure of MS. The funds raised by this luncheon support programs and services that serve 7,200 people in the Mid South Chapter living with MS and contribute to research efforts that will one day lead to a world free of MS.

Each year more than 20 chapters host WAMS Luncheons to educate communities about MS and give from the heart to help friends, family members and colleagues. In past ten years, this incredible event has touched the lives of women – and men - across Tennessee and raised over $635,000 for the Mid South Chapter. Nationally, WAMS has raised more than $2.6 million.

Why should women get involved with this event?
Did you know that three-quarters of the people living with MS are women? Women are also the ones who often provide care for their loved ones living with MS. If you are a woman interested in meeting other women who are taking the lead to change the face of MS, this luncheon is for you!
