The Lone Star Walk MS events raise more than $1 million each year for MS research and services, and members of the top fundraising clubs in each of the three regions account for more than half of that.

When you look at the top 10 percent of these club members, the number gets even more impressive. In 2007, the top 30 individual fundraisers from the Lone Star Walk MS series raised $308,000, almost 30% of the entire funds raised!

To acknowledge these elite fundraisers, Lone Star launched the Walk MS Elite Feet in 2008, a recognition club made up of the top 10 percent of the top fundraising clubs. The goal of the club is to recognize and motivate our top fundraisers, allowing them to share with and encourage one another. Members from the inaugural club came from both large cities and small communities and included both high school students and corporate executives, but all shared a common determination to create a world free of multiple sclerosis.

Every participant in the Walk MS is valuable, and everyone has the potential to be elite.
