Library and Literature
In support of our mission, we provide access to accurate, current and comprehensive information to people with MS and those who care for them.
The Society is pleased to offer the Multiple Sclerosis Basic Facts Series and brochures. These materials contain pertinent information on specific symptoms and common questions. The Basic Facts Series and all brochures can be downloaded online here.
Lending Library
Books and other media resources are also available through the Lone Star Chapter Lending Library at no cost to those living with MS and their families. To visit the library, use the link above.
Lending Library Policies & Procedures
By placing an order with the Lending Library, your order will remain on file until it is completed. All items are mailed according to availability. Some popular items will be placed on back order until they are returned from other borrowers. It is not necessary to place an order twice.
We ask that all books be returned within 3 weeks of the date you receive them. All packages are shipped with a pre-paid return envelope for your convenience in returning the items. It is important to return the items as soon as you are finished so others can enjoy the services of the Lending Library. It is our policy to mail two books at a time; additional books on-order will be mailed in increments of two upon the return of checked-out items. This process will continue until your order is complete.
If you have questions about your order, contact Darla Andrews or call 1-800-344-4867 (press 2).
