Camp Can Do (see the video from past camps)
Since 1988, Camp Can Do has provided a safe, relaxing environment for persons with multiple sclerosis to enjoy well-deserved vacations. This weekend away allows people with MS to take a break from some of the everyday challenges of MS at a barrier-free camp staffed by volunteers committed to providing an amazing experience for all. The camp has a “no-family policy,” which is intended to extend respite to families and caregivers as well. Campers enjoy horseback riding, canoeing, fishing, swimming, dancing, yoga, nature walks, a ropes course, arts and crafts, group games and a campfire sing-along complete with s’mores.
Family Discovery Camp
Family Discovery Camp offers a comfortable, accessible and spacious environment for self-sufficient individuals living with multiple sclerosis and their immediate family members older than 6. The entire family can enjoy activities such as horseback riding, fishing, canoeing, arts and crafts, swimming, campfire projects and more.
Journey Camp
Journey Camp is a week-long day camp for children affected by multiple sclerosis. The North Texas-based camp offers several fun and family-friendly activities and excursions, including arts and crafts, canoeing, rockwall climbing and more.
