Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Benefit Counseling

All people with Medicare have decisions to make about their benefits between Nov. 15 and Dec. 31. Medicare recommends that you make a decision by Dec. 8.

The Part D Prescription Drug Program may help you save money on your prescription drugs, but it is not right for everyone. If you have Medicare and
  • Are currently enrolled in a Part D Prescription Drug Plan, it is important you re-evaluate the plan. All plan’s formularies have changed, and the drugs you take may no longer be covered or may be more expensive.
  • Are NOT currently enrolled in a Part D Prescription Drug Plan, it is important that you have proof of prescription drug coverage that is at least as good as Medicare. This will prevent you from paying a late enrollment fee if you choose to enroll later.

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society can help you understand your options with the Medicare Part D prescription drug benefit through personalized, one-to-one benefits counseling. Call our Medicare Rx Helpline at 1-877-524-4044.
