Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) - Dallas, Texas

MS activists are working to improve aspects of the DART para-transit service in the Dallas Metroplex service region. The efforts are aimed at improving reliability in para-transit schedules as well as providing more efficient and user-friendly eligibility application process for riders.

Shopping Mall Accessibility – Fort Worth, Texas

An activism campaign is underway at a local Fort Worth shopping mall where two department stores do not provide adequate accessible entrances. The goal is to improve accessibility at the department stores for persons with physical disabilities.
 

Capitol Area Rural Transportation Systems (CARTS) – Austin, Texas

In Austin, the Capitol Area Rural Transportation System (CARTS) does not provide transportation across county lines, making it difficult for persons with MS to receive health care at the Austin MS Clinic. The activism initiative seeks to expand transit routes so riders can receive access to health care visits.

Via Metropolitan Transit - San Antonio, Texas 

Via Transit does not provide services to suburban areas in the San Antonio region, hindering mobility for a growing population. An initiative is underway to enhance the services and expand the reach of the VIA Trans transportation authority to more service areas.

Weslaco, Texas

In Weslaco, activists have launched activism efforts to provide accessible accommodations and seating at district sporting venues.
