Fall Fundraising Events: Already thinking about cooler weather? Fall is just around the corner! We are currently seeking a few (thousand) volunteers to help us carry out our fall fundraising events, in every position from Steering Committee Member to day of event help. Visit a link below for additional information and online registration. Be a part of the largest MS fundraising movement in the world by joining our spring event season!
- Walk MS Fall walks begin in September and go through November 15 ending in Downtown Houston.
- Bike MS: Valero 2009 Alamo Ride to the River two day bike ride from San Antonio to New Braunfels, October 3-4, 2009.
Ongoing
- Make Your Mark Day Join us in Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio the third Tuesday of each month from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. for a special volunteer experience allowing you to meet new people, learn new skills, and make a hands on difference. Lunch is included.
- Volunteer Orientation: A next step for new volunteers, providing information on the society and our range of opportunities. Held in Dallas and San Antonio the first Thursday night of the month, and in Houston the first Tuesday night of the month.
- Neighbor to Neighbor: We’re partnering volunteers with people living with MS in selected test markets in order to help out with every day tasks like grocery shopping and yard work.
