The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is supported by private donations, corporate and foundation giving and by promoting quality special events. Many people choose to donate in honor of or in memory of another individual. Others choose to give through workplace giving. All of these vehicles serve people with MS and also allow us to continue research into the cause and cure of multiple sclerosis.
As efficient, effective stewards of our donors' contributions, we make sure that only 12 cents of every dollar raised is used for fundraising and administrative costs, outperforming the industry average by far. That means that 88 cents of every dollar raised goes directly to programs and research.
