 1. MS Retreat at the Breaks
 Join the Blue Ridge Chapter at our first-ever “MS Retreat at the Breaks” April 18 & 19, 2009!
The retreat will be held at Breaks Interstate Park—whose remarkable landscape inspire some to call it the “Grand Canyon of the South”. The park is located in northern Dickenson County, where Dickenson/Buchanan County, VA, and Pike County, KY converge.

 

Highlights of the weekend will include:
• One-on-one PT/OT consultations
• Family activities
• Neurology presentation/Q&A session
• Social events
• Special activities for kids
•”Relaxation Sunday” (spa treatments, massages, etc.)

2. Yoga class for people with MS in Roanoke
A six-week yoga class for people with MS will begin April 16, 2009 at 6:30 pm. The class will be held at the Health Focus Center and will be taught by Caryl Connelly. The cost for six sessions is $48. Please contact Health Focus at (540) 774-4022 for more information and to register.
The Blue Ridge Chapter has Wellness Scholarships available to help pay for the cost of these classes. These scholarships are not need based—call the chapter office at 1-800-344-4867 for more information on how to get yours today!
