There are many ways to be a part of the National MS Society:

Walking - Riding - Volunteering - Fundraising
Advocating - Sponsoring - Leading

We have a passion for what we do and we hope that you will join us in our efforts of creating a world free of MS. Click to the right to hear from people we serve here in Central Virginia.

Virginia Virtual Advocacy Day - January 30, 2012

Each year, the Virginia Chapters of the National MS Society host a Legislative Action Day at the Capitol. MS Activists come to Richmond to learn about our legislative issues and meet with their legislators.

For the third year, we have incorporated a virtual aspect to our Legislative Action Day - You can use online resources and social networking to participate in our event without leaving your home!

Here are just some of the legislative priorities you can help us advocate:

  • Health Care
  • Livable Communities
  • Care for Our Caregivers
  • Funding for Critical Resources
