Bike MS 2009 Still Accepting Donations!!
Thanks to all the cyclists, volunteers and donors who participated in Bike MS 2009.
We hope that everyone who participated this weekend truly understands the mission of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society: We mobilize people and resources to drive research for a cure and to address the challenges of everyone affected by MS.
Because of the funds we’ve raised through Bike MS over the years, researchers have developed medicines that slow the progression of MS. Doctors are able to diagnose MS much more quickly then they could 10 years ago. We are getting closer to a cure. But, this has been a difficult year for many people with MS. The Hampton Roads Chapter allocates tens of thousands of dollars annually for Financial Assistance. Currently, the funds are nearly depleted when in past years, we’ve had thousands remaining at year end. People with MS need your help!
