Glen Foresman is a Southern California native and attended Long Beach City College and Cal State Long Beach.
Glen entered the grocery business in 1969 while attending school. He worked for three grocery chains in California and moved to Washington in 1985 to work for Haggen. Currently, as the Director of Retail Support for Haggen, Inc., he is responsible for all non retail procurement activities and store support services.
Glen is a past member of the Board of Directors of the United Way of Whatcom County, the Board of Directors of Whatcom Crisis Services (Women's Shelter), the Food Marketing Institutes (FMI) Risk Management Committee, the Food Marketing Institutes Loss Prevention Committee, the Food Marketing Institutes Ergonomic/Industrial Hygiene Committee. He was also appointed by Governor Locke to serve on the Washington Safety and Health Administration Advisory Committee, serving since 1997, providing advice and guidance in the are of workplace safety.
Glen is married with three children and four grandchildren. He is very active in the area of Industrial Insurance, workplace safety and regulations. His personal interests include collecting classic cars, travel, and fishing.
