You don’t have to be a cyclist to get involved in the Bike MS Ride

Opportunities abound for those who want to be a part of this year’s Bike MS Ride, but would rather leave the cycling to others.

Can’t attend, but want to give your support? “Virtual Riders” can still fundraise as much as they like, but without the sweat.

For those looking to volunteer, we have a variety of important roles to fill including:

  • Route markers to draw arrows and place mission and event signage along the route.
  • Team photo volunteers to help professional photographers taking team pictures.
  • Bike corral volunteers to check bicycles in and out before and after the ride each day.
  • Rider Village festivities volunteers to set-up and clean-up activities at the Fairgrounds, including the beer garden, kids’ activities and entertainment stage.
  • Finish line greeters to welcome cyclists back to Rider Village and distribute medals as they cross the finish line.
  • Meal service volunteers to assist catering staff with food set-up, distribution and clean-up for meals in Rider Village.
  • Registration volunteers to check-in riders, collect donations and distribute fundraising prizes.
  • Bike MS Champions living with MS to help the Chapter connect cyclists to our mission of a world free of multiple sclerosis.

Of course, you can also simply donate to a team and/or rider and know that you’re doing your part to help the 9,000 people living with MS (and 50,000 more directly affected) in our Chapter region.

TO LEARN MORE OR SIGN UP for any of the above, please visit the official Bike MS website or call 1-800-344-4867, option 2.
