THE TIME IS NOW TO FIND A CURE.
Every hour of every day, someone new is diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. The MS Luncheon raises funds for research into the cause, treatment and cure of MS.
Right now there are cutting-edge research projects that hold the potential to change lives. However, many of these remain unfunded. Our goal is to raise $300,000 by September 30, 2009 for targeted research that will get us closer to dramatically impacting the lives of people who live with MS. You can help by joining us at the MS Luncheon.
MS Luncheons Create Buzz, Raise Funds for Research
The Wisconsin Chapter is pleased to announce that Dr. Bhupendra Khatri and Dr. Ian Duncan will participate in the Wisconsin Chapter’s Annual MS Luncheons. Dr. Khatri will appear at the Milwaukee MS Luncheon on Wednesday, June 17 at the Pfister Hotel; and Dr. Duncan will join the Madison MS Luncheon on Thursday, June 18 at the Marriott West Hotel.
The time is now to find a cure. Help us raise funds for research by attending one of the MS Luncheons. You’ll hear stories of challenge and triumph, stories of inspiration and hope. Stories like Channing Barker’s. Channing was diagnosed with MS three years ago as a 16-year-old high school junior. Currently a sophomore at the University of Arkansas, Barker will share her story at this year’s Milwaukee and Madison MS Luncheons.
All guests for the Milwaukee and Madison luncheons must register and pay the minimum $100 donation in advance. A table is $1,000 and corporate sponsorships are also available.
EVERY FACE HAS A STORY.
EVERY VOICE MATTERS. EVERY STORY COUNTS.
MS can affect anyone. Your mother…your neighbor…your child…you! Every face of MS has a story to tell. Come to the MS Luncheon and hear stories of challenge and triumph, stories of inspiration and hope.
GAINING MOMENTUM TOWARD A WORLD FREE OF MS.
In 2005, the National MS Society Wisconsin Chapter committed to raise $2 million for an innovative and targeted research initiative called Promise: 2010. Promise: 2010 funds vital MS research and care, including a remarkable project at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, led by Dr. Ian Duncan, which studies reversing the damage caused by MS.
All funds raised at the MS Luncheon go directly toward the Promise: 2010 campaign.
