2012 Dinner of Champions

26th Annual MS Dinner of Champions
Honoring Paul G. Moak, Jr.

Paul Moak

The Alabama-Mississippi Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society hosted its annual MS Dinner of Champions honoring Paul Moak, Jr., President and CEO of Paul Moak Automotive Inc., with the Society’s highest award, the HOPE Award, on Monday, September 24, 2012 at The Country Club of Jackson.  More than 300 local business and civic leaders gathered to honor “one of their own” and raised $102,415 that will help fund research for a cure and programs and services offered by the National MS Society.

The MS Dinner of Champions is an annual event that honors Jackson’s civic and business leaders while mobilizing people and resources to drive research for a cure and to address the challenges of those affected by MS.  The Dinner is spearheaded by business and civic leaders including members of the National MS Society Leadership Board.  In addition to recognizing contributions of local leaders, this fundraising event is pivotal to the National MS Society’s vision of creating a world free of MS.

This year’s event featured a gourmet dinner; a cocktail reception; a silent auction plus special guest speakers and the presentation of the prestigious HOPE Award to honoree, Paul Moak, Jr.
