2011 Event Information
The Dinner of Champions is the premier gala event of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society honoring many of America’s most prestigious corporate leaders and philanthropists. In the past twenty years, this incredible event has touched the lives and men and women across Mississippi, raising over $1.2 million dollars for the Alabama-Mississippi Chapter in the fight against MS.
Each year we honor a special individual with THE HOPE AWARD. This year’s worthy recipient is Bill Brown, President of the Brown Bottling Group. The HOPE Award is the highest award given by the Alabama-Mississippi Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. It is given to community leaders demonstrating outstanding philanthropic generosity and community service. The Award is presented at the prestigious Dinner of Champions to appropriately honor corporate and community leaders like Mr. Brown who have provided leadership to their communities.
The MS Dinner of Champions is spearheaded by a wide range of business and civic leaders, including members of our Leadership Board. In addition to recognizing the contribution of local leaders, this fundraising event is pivotal to the National MS Society’s vision of creating a world free of MS.
The 2011 Hope Award will be presented to Mr. Brown at the traditional Dinner of Champions on Thursday, September 22, at The South Warehouse. The evening will include a cocktail reception preceding a seated dinner. The highlight of the evening is the presentation of the prestigious HOPE Award to our honoree, including special remarks from guest speakers and featured highlights of his business and civic accomplishments
Dinner reservations are $150 for an individual reservation or we have unlimited Gallery Tables available for $1,500, Silver Tier Tables for $2,500 or Golden Circle Tables for $5,000. We need your help and hope you will make a reservation today.
